Premio Lo Nuestro Launches Website.

Premio Lo Nuestro A La Música Latina launched its own Web site. The new site, which can be accessed by logging onto http://www.univision.com, chronicles the history of the award, as well as past winners and this year’s nominees. It also features a media section with press releases and contacts for the forthcoming event, and
forms for obtaining press credentials.

Also, for the first time this year, fans will be able to participate in the selection process. Three newly created categories will allow viewers to cast their votes either online or by calling toll free 1-877-255-0327. As in the past, however, the vast majority of Premio Lo Nuestro winners continue to be chosen independently by Hispanic radio programmers from around the country. Although Spanish-language Univision Network produces and broadcasts the awards, it is the collective vote of the Latin radio programmers that determines the winners.
