LatinWorks announced the addition of Mark Priestland to the agency as Strategic Account Lead for the Burger King account. Priestland has marketing experience in domestic, multicultural and international markets. Most recently, he was with Outback Steakhouse where he was responsible for local marketing activities for over 300 restaurants in the western U.S.
“Mark brings a wealth of experience working in both the restaurant and retail industries within Latin America, The Caribbean, and the U.S. Hispanic market. Specifically his experience within the fast food and casual dining categories make him the ideal person for the position,” said Manny Flores, CEO and managing partner, LatinWorks.
For Burger King, Mark will serve as the strategic lead in order to help drive strategy development and provide analysis on the U.S. Hispanic market to ensure clear and accurate messaging to the target audience. Though stationed in Miami, Mark will work closely with the team in Austin. He has contributed to and developed marketing programs for companies such as Wendy’s, Payless Shoe Source and Outback Steakhouse. Mark has held various roles within those organizations including brand, field and general market development.
“I am pleased to be joining a team with such a strong and proud heritage in the Hispanic community,” said Priestland. “The passion they share for delivering on-target, strategically-driven creative advertising and marketing campaigns for their clients is very much in line with my philosophy. I look forward to working with the team and to contributing to a company with a first class reputation for advertising and marketing program delivery.”
