A Primer on Latino Polling Methodology.

André Pineda has issued a press release offering his views regarding appropriate polling technique of Latino populations in the US. We welcome any contribution to the body of knowledge regarding the most effective way to measure Latino opinion, as this is a topic that generally receives little attention among pollsters, campaigns and the media. Mr. Pineda’s claim is that he believes significant bias is introduced when Spanish surnames and commercially “flagged” databases are used to identify potential Latino respondents.
