Prisa Digital consolidates its strategy in the Americas.

PRISA created PRISA Digital Americas, a specific division that will enhance the businesses development of its online properties in Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic market.

Globally, PRISA Digital is led by Kamal Bherwani as CEO, and Paul Westhorpe as Managing Director, Global Digital Sales and Strategy.

The Americas‚ division is headquartered in Miami and led by Alvaro Palacios, Vice President in charge of implementing the digital strategies in Latin America and the United States. Previously, he worked at Terra USA and Latin America, and was responsible for developing the EZTarget Media ad network. He also spent 11 years at PriceWaterhouseCoopers gaining unparalleled business experience to foster outstanding financial results.

The roster of regional executives includes Marilyn Aldir, Associate Vice President, U.S. Pan-Regional Sales, Cristian Cravello, Director of Marketing Sales, Jorge Mercado, Associate Vice President of Marketing and Communications and Jose Luis Ortega, Director of Business Development.

Before joining PRISA Digital Americas, Marilyn Aldir was Director of Sales at Terra.com and ESPNdeportes.com.

Cristian Cravello worked at Hoodiny Entertainment Group and has experience in online and traditional media. He was also Vice President of Marketing at MTV Networks Latin America.

Jorge Mercado was Marketing Director at Terra Networks USA, Digital Marketing Manager at Accentmarketing and in 2005 he received the IAB “Pionero” Award for its leadership in Hispanic digital advertising.

José Luis Ortega was Director of Business Development at Terra USA, Product Marketing Manager at Terra Mexico and Deputy Director of Product and Business Development. Previously, he was e-commerce manager for GE Appliances and a founding member of IAB Mexico. He is a member of the Multicultural Council of the IAB.
