Pronto Insurance produces spots for income tax season.
December 13, 2010
Pronto has produced 2-:30 TV and radio spots in English and Spanish titled “Nalgas” (rear-ends) to capture market share during tax season.
“We want our customers to get the most out of their return,” said Marco Saldivar, VP Customer Service. “With Pronto’s trained tax professionals, our customers are assured their returns are done right, prepared quickly, yet accurately at a low affordable cost. Pronto Insurance income tax preparers are professionals our customers can trust. The commercials we produced are out of the norm hysterically funny, but that’s only to prove our tax preparers know the tax laws and they will work hard to get the maximum refund for our customers.”
The :30 spots were produced with the premise that Pronto Insurance will save you money on your income tax return. The spot opens with a man and woman running into each other at a party. The woman tells the out of shape man that he looks great. He responds by saying that he just got his income taxes done at Pronto, put all the money he saved in his wallet and now has buns like Captain Prontísimo, Pronto’s animated Superhero spokesman. He then turns to show the woman his super buns. The camera then cuts to a shot of a perfect set of “nalgas” or buns that he obviously does not have as we hear the woman’s surprised reaction off camera. The voice over then says “Get the most out of your income tax return with Pronto. Call 855-999-1040 for an appointment with our trained tax professionals and enter for your chance to win a 2011 Nissan Sentra!” The closing shot shows the man getting a refreshment as a woman comments on his rear-end, “Nice return!”
“The end result of getting a great return is more cash in your wallet,” added Saldivar. “We wanted to demonstrate that people will be happy with their tax return from Pronto in a fun and memorable way while continuing the success of our Muscles TV campaign.”
The Spanish spot was produced with the same premise. The spots are airing in Laredo, San Antonio, and the Rio Grande Valley on CBS, FOX, and Time Warner Cable, with the Spanish language spots airing on Univision, Telemundo, and Televisa. Catarino Lopez, Owner/Creative Director, Machete, produced the spots for Pronto Insurance.
