Quadrant II To Represent USHCC TV Program.
October 26, 2001
Quadrant II, a TV programming sales representation firm specialized in the US Hispanic market, announced its alliance with the US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce(USHCC), to act as a sales agency for the nationally syndicated program “Hispanics Today.”
“Hispanics Today” is the first nationally syndicated program dedicated to highlighting the achievements of Hispanics in the fields of business, entertainment, politics, culture, sports and issues impacting the Latino community. “Hispanics Today” is a half-hour program nationally syndicated throughout the US which is offered by general market stations in its weekly time-slot. 74 stations (almost exclusively network affiliates) currently carry the show. The program is hosted by journalists Manuel Teodoro and Maria Arita. To date, ‘Hispanics Today’ has had an overwhelmingly positive response in syndication through clearances achieved by co-producer TWI, the TV division of IMG, one of the largest independent TV producers in the world and an industry leader in syndication.
“Our expertise in the US Hispanic market and the general market advertising agency community make us ideal representatives for programming aimed at Hispanic viewers, such as ‘Hispanics Today,” said José Manuel De Jesús, President & CEO of QIIMC. “The programs offered by our agency will not be exclusively in English, but we are in a unique position, as a firm, offering this type of programming for this lucrative and underserved market. The US Hispanic market is our specialty. Once again I emphasize that bilingual Hispanics-and those that are English dominant-are truly an “undiscovered planet” in the US Hispanic market universe. He or she constitute the TV viewer with some of the highest indexes of affluence and education, and yet, the lowest index for offerings of services and products.”
