QUÉ MOMENTO: EDICIÓN MUNDIAL returns to Telemundo & Universe with most notable & Memorable stories at of THE 2022 FIFA WORLD CUP

Qué Momento: Edición Mundial, a sports docuseries presented by Telemundo Deportes, returns with a four-part special that captures the most important stories and events of the 2022 FIFA World Cup™ on and off the field. The first episode will air on Thursday, December 8 at 7 p.m. ET on Telemundo and Universo.

The first three editions of the show will air simultaneously on Telemundo and Universo and after airing, each episode of Qué Momento: Edición Mundial will be available on the Telemundo Deportes app and the Telemundo Deportes YouTube channel.

The World Cup special will be hosted by Andrés Cantor and will feature conversations with the protagonists and experts who joined Telemundo for exclusive Spanish-language coverage of the FIFA World Cup™ to provide insight and in-depth analysis on the events that take place during the most important sporting tournament on the planet. Each episode will offer a recap of the most important moments and team performances from the group stage to third place and the final.

Conversations with Telemundo Deportes’ team of commentators and experts will focus on analysis of the best goals, upsets and interesting stories from the tournament. Some of the soccer stars include former Mexican national team coach Miguel “Piojo” Herrera; Real Madrid and Spanish national team legend Fernando Hierro; World Cup champions Mauro Silva of Brazil and Claudio Borghi of Argentina; and 2010 FIFA World Cup Golden Ball winner Diego Forlán of Uruguay. Following are brief synopses of the episodes and broadcast dates.

EPISODE 1, December 8: Best moments and performances during the group stage and round of 16, on and off the field. Learn more about the goals, records, and stories of the Hispanic nations’ teams and Team USA.

EPISODE 2, December 12: Highlights of the teams that made it to the quarterfinals. Experts analyze the biggest surprises of the third phase of the World Cup.

EPISODE 3, December 16: Best goals, upsets, and interesting stories of the tournament with a recap of the teams that made it to the Semifinals. The Telemundo team shares more about the matches full of passion for the sport.

EPISODE 4, December 18: Recap of the entire tournament including an in-depth look at the third place and final matches. Relive the unforgettable goals, the unexpected plays, and the thrills that were not to be missed.

Qué Momento is a documentary-style sports series produced by Telemundo Deportes that takes an in-depth look at some of the greatest and most memorable moments in sports history. Qué Momento reconstructs the story of a moment from the ground up, analyzing precedents and historical context, while moving through the different points of view and memories of the protagonists to offer viewers all angles of the story.
