Quiñoy to Executive Vice President @ Viacom Brand Solutions-Europe.

Melisa Quiñoy has been appointed Executive Vice President of the newly named Viacom Brand Solutions (VBS)-Europe. In this role, she will manage MTVNI’s multi-territory, pan-regional and Europe-based global clients to ensure they receive integrated marketing solutions that resonate with the ever-elusive kids and young adult audiences. These responsibilities will encompass the MTV: Music Television and Nickelodeon brands in Europe as well as a wide array of platforms, including television, broadband, mobile phones and the youth community website Neopets. VBS Europe will also add Paramount Comedy Channel to its multi-territory offerings in the near future.
The VBS name replaces International Marketing Partnership, as it better reflects the group’s broader portfolio of brands. In addition, the name is in sync with a number of local European territories, including the UK, Germany and Spain, who have already been working under the VBS name for some time now.
Ms. Quiñoy, who previously served as Senior Vice President, International Marketing Partnerships and Ad Sales, MTV Networks Latin America, will be based in London and will report to Simon Guild, Chief Executive, MTV Networks Europe. The announcement was made by Alex Ferrari, Chief Operating Officer, MTVNI.
