R. Paniagua Inc. celebrates Hispanic Achievement Awards.

R. Paniagua Inc., publishers of LatinoBaseball.com will present the 22nd annual Hispanic Achievement Awards (H.A.A.) at Yankee Stadium on Sunday May 20, 2012. H.A.A honors and celebrates the very best 20 Latino middle school students from the five boroughs of New York City. H.A.A’s program has proven to be a motivating experience not only for the children but for their parents, and educators alike with several past recipients having gone on to attend Ivy league Universities such as; Oxford and Harvard.

Ballots are distributed to all middle school principals for their voting nominations of their top Latino students one month prior to the ceremonies. The honored student will be feted along with two of their guest in a Stadium suite which will include all of the baseball trimmings. The students will be presented on the field prior to the start of the 1:05pm game between the New York Yankees-vs-Cincinnati Reds.

Also Dominican Yankee Star Robinson Cano will be awarded “The Citizens Award” for his outstanding contribution to the Latino community both in the US and Dominican Republic.

“For the past 22 years the H.A.A has been celebrating the outstanding academic achievements of our inner city young adults. To be able to treat them and their families to a memorable event and introducing them to a world of many possibilities has always been our mission” said Ralph Paniagua, President of R.Paniaqua Inc. “and to pay tribute to Robinson, let’s him know that we appreciate his dedication to the community” he concluded.
