RadioCadena Univision To Simulcast Univision TV Election Coverage.

Univision Radio announced its plans for RadioCadena Univision, its AM news/talk network, to nationally air continuous coverage of the Presidential election. Beginning Tuesday, November 2nd at 12 Noon (ET), the network will air “Tu Voto Hoy Decide,” a special Election Day program covering the election and encouraging Hispanics to get out and vote. RadioCadena Univision has joined with Noticiero Univision to offer listeners continuous coverage featuring reports and commentary from Univision anchors, correspondents, and major personalities. RadioCadena Univision personalities will include: Julie Stav, Dra. Isabel, Dra. Aliza, Oscar Haza, Agustin Acosta, Maria Elvira Salazar and Hugo Cadelagos.

As part of this unprecedented effort, Univision News anchors and correspondents including Jorge Ramos, Maria Elena Salinas and Maria Antonieta Collins will participate from Univision’s Election Headquarters in Miami, Florida and file reports from battleground states while Univision’s Chief Washington Correspondent and Moderator of RadioCadena Univision’s “Tu Voz en Washington”, Lourdes Meluzá, will broadcast coverage from Washington DC.

For the first time in history, RadioCadena Univision will simulcast Univision Networks’ election night coverage “Destino 2004, Noche de Elecciones” that will air on the TeleFutura Network from 7PM (ET) and then on both Univision and TeleFutura at 9PM (ET).
