Republica Havas Breaks Record, Winning 18 El Ojo de Iberoamérica Awards and 2 Finalist Recognitions

Republica Havas is the winner of 18 awards and two finalist recognitions across 15 categories from El Ojo de Iberoamérica 2023 that took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The wins span six Gold, ten Silver, and two Bronze for the agency’s work in three campaigns: The Name Confusion – The Fight Against Alzheimer’s Association; oBko: The Alzheimer’s Book, The Fight Against Alzheimer’s Association and Penguin Books; and Grateful – SIAM Motos Electric Scooters. Two additional campaigns – “Routines” for Cafe Versailles and “Misused Objects” for Amigos For Kids – also earned accolades, coming in as finalists.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by El Ojo festival, one the largest and most prestigious international award events,” said Tony Waissmann, Republica Havas Group’s Chief Creative Officer. “Congratulations to our clients and our amazing team!”

This is the second consecutive year Republica Havas takes home Ojo awards. Last year, the agency won seven, including two Gold, across four categories, and Waissmann was named Best Creative of the Year (2022).

“We are extremely proud of this well-deserved recognition for our work, our team and our clients,” added Luis Casamayor, Republica Havas Group’s Creative Chairman and President. “These Ojos are testaments to our agency’s unique ability to develop content that resonates authentically and meaningfully with audiences in the U.S. and abroad.”
