Republica Havas expands Health & Wellness Division

Republica Havas is expanding Republica Havas Health with an executive appointment poised to empower the division’s rapid growth.

Industry veteran Eirasmin Lokpez-Cobo has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Brand Strategy & Consumer Insights, from her previous role as Senior Vice President, Brand Strategy. She brings more than two decades of career experience in developing and executing marketing strategies for Fortune 500 and Global Fortune 500 brands and leading community health programs for underserved women.

Lokpez-Cobo returned to the agency in March of 2022 as Vice President of Brand Strategy and was part of the executive team that helped launch the Republica Havas Health division in August of 2022. As a health equity agent, she has dedicated her career to dismantling disparities in healthcare, ensuring that marginalized communities receive the attention they deserve.

“I am thrilled to embark on my new role with Republica Havas Health, especially now amid the industry’s heightened awareness of the importance of consistent action to address health inequities,” said Lokpez-Cobo. “There is much work to be done, which motivates us to continue making a lasting impact in this crucial space. We are committed to being a catalyst for change for underserved communities, shaping a healthier, brighter, more optimistic future for all.”

Her brand portfolio experience in the healthcare and wellness sectors includes Sanofi, Pfizer, Regeneron, Amgen, Merck, Biogen, Eisai, Otsuka, Lundbeck, the American Heart Association, the National Wellness Institute, Baptist Health Hospital, Memorial Hermann Hospital, and the Wellness for Growth Foundation, among others.

“With her deep passion for Republica Havas Health’s mission and work, Eirasmin has been a key driver of our health and wellness division’s continued growth and success,” said Jorge A. Plasencia, Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Republica Havas. “Her promotion is well deserved, and we look forward to many great things to come under her leadership.”

Nine members of the staff were promoted. Among these is Victoria Principe, who was appointed Director of Content & Social from her former position as Associate Director of Content & Social. She joined the agency in January 2021 as Senior Social Media Strategist and has since then steadily climbed the ranks.

“Working at Republica Havas has been the most fulfilling experience of my professional career, and I’m so proud of everything I’ve been able to accomplish so far,” Principe said. “As I look toward the future, I feel excited and challenged to continue to do impactful work and, more importantly, to continue to grow our award-winning social offering, regarded as one of the best in the industry.”
