Reventón Super Estrella the summer concert that sold out in 22 minutes last year; returns with a stellar line up: Juanes, Alejandro Fernandez, Thalia, Julieta Venegas, Ivy Queen, La Quinta Estacion and La Sinfonia.
With eight of Latin music’s finest performers gathered under one roof, this year’s show promises to sell out in record time. Eight artists is a fitting number for Reventon Super Estrella, which celebrates its eight yearon Saturday, July 23, 2005 at the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim. It’s the biggest concert event organized by top Latin radio station Super Estrella 107.1 FM. Along with great performances from the artists; listeners will be joined by all Super Estrella’s DJs; Ysaac and Serralde from “La Regadera,” Taly Taly,Kolo Barrera, and Alexxx.
From rock to reggaeton, pop to alternative, this day promises to be a real musical journey. Beginning with Colombian rocker Juanes, who was recently named one of the most influential people by Time magazine and has sold over 1.5 million copies of his album is “Mi Sangre” will make a stop for his Super Estrella fans. Next will be Alejandro Fernandez who will treat his fans with a combination of rancheras and top Mexican pop ballads. Julieta Venegas who will bring along her famous accordion will represent the female rockers. Also in hand will be Reyli with his beautiful lyrics; he is also known for being the front man of Elefante. After 12 successful productions, international tours and countless awards Thalia will bring her latest single “Amar sin ser amada” from her upcoming album “El sexto sentido”.
From Spain comes La Quinta Estación. They bring high quality pop, mixed in with some ranchera and even some blues. La Sinfonia will feature its hip-hop and urban influences with its latest album “El dolor, la lucha y el triunfo”. To complete this one of a kind musical journey, the Queen of Reggaeton, Ivy Queen will make everyone want to dance
