Revolucion wins Silver Telly for Ad Council PSA.

Revolucion landed a Silver Telly Award for their Ad Council/AdoptUsKids spot. This marks the eight-year-old agency’s eighth Telly and the second award for the campaign, which received a Silver Creativity Annual Award in 2007. The spots may be seen at www.revolucionnyc.com.

Currently there are over 16,000 Latino children eligible for adoption in the U.S. foster care system. REVOLUCION created a multi-media campaign to encourage Spanish-speaking families and individuals to consider adoption from foster care system with a national call-to-action to “Complete a life. Complete your own.”

“Adoption messaging has long been focused on creating an emotional connection to the children,” says Federico L. Mejer, chief strategy officer at REVOLUCION, “but the adoption experience is also powerful for the adoptive parents We saw the most compelling approach as the one that focused on the parents’ sense of fulfillment.” The campaign urged adults to help “complete a life” by completing their dreams of starting or expanding a family.
