Rios and Iam join Siempre Mujer Magazine.

Siempre Mujer, the Spanish-language lifestyle and service magazine for women published by Meredith Corporation), announced that Craft Guru Evette Rios and Relationship Expert Mabel Iam have joined the magazine as Contributing Editors.

“I’m so thrilled to be able to offer two well-respected and well-known experts in the areas of home design and relationships,” commented Johanna Buchholtz-Torres, editor-in-chief of Siempre Mujer. “It’s part of our ongoing mission to continue listening to our readers about what’s important to them as Hispanic women and surrounding them with relevant experts and editorial coverage.”

Rios will answer questions, offer design advice and put her skills to work with reader room makeovers. Her column will appear in the Design Ideas (“Cosas de Diseño”) section of Siempre Mujer. Rios is a regular on-air contributor to the Rachael Ray Show and has designed on camera for HGTV’s Freestyle and TLC’s In a Fix. She designs interiors through her firm Sitio, bringing experience working in several of Manhattan’s top interior firms. A graduate of Bates College, she also attended both Parsons School of Design and the Graduate School of Design at Harvard.

Iam will pen a back-of-book advice column titled Love Letters (“Cartas de Amor”), which will provide readers an opportunity to tap into her sex and relationship expertise. She is an author, psychotherapist, and a romance therapist, as well as a hostess and producer for TV and radio shows. Iam made the Celebrity Authors List with the publication of her first book in English, Sex and the Perfect Lover (2004), which was translated to over 10 languages, and has remained there on account of The Love Diet(R) (2006). Her awards include the Latino Literary Award for Best Self Help Book for both Ser Angelical and Qué hay Detrás de tu Nombre, and nominations in the Best Non-Fiction Bilingual Book Category at the Latino Book Awards for both Sex and the Perfect Lover and Sex and the Erotic Lover.

Rios and Iam join Gina Barroso, Daisy Martinez, Sylvia Mendoza, Irma Murillo, Hildi Santo Tomas and Xavier Serbia as Siempre Mujer Contributing Editors.
