RL Public Relations & Marketing team additions and promotions.

RL Public Relations & Marketing (RLPR) and Sportivo have added two new members to their staff and promoted a number of young public relations professionals for 2007.

“Our roster of blue chip clients continues to grow and as such we need to add staff to service our clients on both coasts,” said Roxana Lissa, CEO, RLPR & Marketing. “In addition, we strongly believe in fostering the professional growth of our staff and the promotion of a number of them demonstrates the commitment we have in these young professionals.”

Among the new faces at RLPR is Silvana Ritacco in the agency’s New York office. Ritacco joins as an account executive and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Procter & Gamble and Heineken accounts. Before joining RLPR Ritacco worked at the non -profit organization Pro Mujer and prior to that she worked for Vanguard Communications in Washington, D .C. on their Hispanic PR initiatives.

A new addition to the RLPR team in Los Angeles is Tatum Wan, also as an account executive. Wan was brought on board to assist with the development and execution of local, regional and national marketing programs for the GOT MILK? account. Previously she worked as a general assignment reporter for television news stations KCBS/KCAL in Los Angeles, KUTV in Salt Lake City, Utah and WZZM in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Among the promotions in the agency’s Los Angeles office to account executive are:

Yvette Pacheco, who has worked at the agency for two years in the New York and Los Angeles offices. Pacheco is responsible for the Cheerios Healthy Hearts initiative and has helped lead many of the agency’s Got Milk? programs.

Josefina Mora who also adds the title of media coordinator, showcasing her savvy media relations skills. Mora will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the National Honey Board account while continuing to assist the Got Milk? team and will contribute to all agency account groups with her media skills.

Gustavo Galindo, who for the past two years has primarily worked as a member of Sportivo implementing public relations programs for the agency’s sports and lifestyle clients such as Nike, the Women’s Sports Foundation, Verizon Wireless and ESPN Deportes.
