Rodriguez joins Turbulence.

Julio Rodriguez, who until recently was the Director of Brand Management spearheading the Volkswagen of America account at Hispanic agency Creative On Demand, will join Miami based creative shop Turbulence this month when they move into their new offices.
“What intrigued me about Turbulence is how they have created a truly hybrid agency. Like many of the new wave of shops, they’ve abandoned the traditional agency model for something more organic, but they’ve also added a multicultural element, with staff on the leading edge of pop culture trends who connect with different segments of today’s consumers. They have managed to leverage Miami’s growing creative talent pool and incorporated people with all of kinds of backgrounds, from packaging and web design to cross-cultural marketing.” Rodriguez commented.

With Julio’s experience working with iconic brands like Volkswagen, Burger King, MTV Networks and M&M/Mars, he will add another dimension to our unique approach of brand building,” says José Reyes, partner and creative director of the shop. “Plus, he’s just as fearless as we are.”
As Director of Brand Management, a newly created position at the agency, Julio will work side-by-side with agency president Tom Moleta identifying new business opportunities and managing brand activity for the agency’s roster of clients. “I’m certainly looking forward to it. He’s bringing the fresh energy and experience we need to continue building creative solutions for our clients.” echoes Tom.
