Rojas joins The Jeffrey Group New York

Alberto G. Rojas has joined The Jeffrey Group New York as Director of Client Service. He had been Communications Counsel and spokesperson for Consumer Reports since 2003. At the New York office, Rojas will develop and manage strategic marketing, communications and public relations programs for the agency’s North American clients as well as for clients served by Axeso, The Jeffrey Group’s U.S. Hispanic division.

Rojas will report to Jorge Ortega, President of The Jeffrey Group. “We’re excited to be able to offer clients access to Alberto’s experience in working with top-tier national broadcast and print media.” Ortega said in making the announcement. “As we expand our operations domestically in the U.S., Alberto’s strategic media relations expertise and extensive contacts are increasingly important in helping develop and execute successful communications programs.”

Prior to joining Consumer Reports, Rojas had worked at HarperCollins, Simon & Schuster, and Out magazine.
