Roshana Gossoff passes …..

Roshana passed away on May 21, 2024.

“Roshana was a kind, caring, and compassionate person who always put her family and others above herself. She brought authenticity to the field of public relations and was an example of what a committed communicator should be. HPRA did not just lose a board member, we also lost a good friend. Fluent in English, Spanish and Italian, Roshana was an outstanding communications professional who took immense pride in her work. Throughout her career, she formed lifelong bonds with her colleagues at Balsera Communications, Wells Fargo, Royal Caribbean Group, and most recently, Regions Bank.

She was recognized with a 2015 HPRA Bravo Public Affairs Campaign of the Year and she was also part of the Wells Fargo team honored with a 2019 Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Silver Anvil recognizing communications efforts around its Days of Service.

An ardent supporter of education and giving back, Roshana was a member of the boards of directors of the PRSA Miami Chapter where she had also chaired its College Relations committee. She was also part of Teach for America Miami-Dade’s associate board.

Roshana earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a master’s degree in Global Strategic Communications from Florida International University.
