Rosy Marin joins Telemundo Media Sales Team.

Telemundo Media announced that Rosy Marin has been named senior vice president, regional ad sales, Telemundo Media. She will report to Dan Lovinger, executive vice president of advertising sales & integrated marketing, Telemundo Media.

Marin, who joins Telemundo Media from Univision, will be based in Los Angeles and will oversee network sales for all Telemundo Media regional offices, including Los Angeles, Orange County, Chicago and Dallas. Marin’s teams will sell Telemundo, mun2 and all related digital and mobile properties to national advertisers.

“We couldn’t be more excited to have Rosy on board,” said Lovinger. “She brings incredible smarts and know-how to our sales organization. Her deep understanding of the Hispanic marketplace and strong relationships with clients and agencies will take us to another level in the competitive landscape.”

Previously, Marin was the senior vice president, director of national sales at Univision, where she led the national sales division in multiplatform sales for over 100 Owned and Operated and affiliated television stations. In addition, Marin managed the strategic planning and marketing team, political sales and direct response.

Prior to that, she was senior vice president, western region, national sales at Univision, where she managed executives and sales people in Los Angeles, Miami and San Francisco. She began at Univision in 1998 as vice president, Los Angeles/Orange County national sales where she ran their sales organization.
