Ruiz-Abreu joins MEXICANAL.

MEXICANAL Network has hired Gladys Ruiz-Abreu as an Account Executive. Ruiz-Abreu, whose multifaceted background includes sales and marketing posts at Azteca America Television Network, Univision Television Group and New York’s WNJU-TV Channel 47 (Telemundo), will be based in MEXICANAL’s New York office, reporting to John Perez, Senior Vice President, Advertising Sales for the MEXICANAL Network.
“Gladys brings extensive research and sales experience having worked at major networks such as Univision, Telemundo and TV Azteca,” said Perez, in making today’s announcement. “I welcome her enthusiasm and good reputation in the industry.”
As an account executive for MEXICANAL, Ruiz-Abreu will be responsible for national sales for the network’s growing list of affiliates, including Los Angeles, San Antonio, Dallas and Las Vegas, to name a few. She will also assist in making several of MEXICANAL presentations and proposals look more uniform across all of its stations.
