‘Salud con Sabor’ Hispanic Health Event.

Sharp Marketing announces an unprecedented program to raise awareness about health and lifestyle choices that affect the Latino population. Salud con Sabor (Health with Flavor, Taste and Style), is a hip, unique, Latino healthy lifestyle and cultural event premiering at Los Angeles’ 16th Annual Fiesta Broadway on May 1, 2005. Fiesta Broadway is the country’s largest Latino event in its largest Latino market, attracting over 500,000 annually for the Cinco de Mayo celebration.

Certain chronic diseases. diabetes, asthma, depression, HIV/AIDS, cervical cancer and heart disease. disproportionately affect Latinos in this country. In addition, lower rates of physical exercise are having a negative impact on the health and well-being of Latino communities. Salud con Sabor will debut in Los Angeles as a health super-site within Fiesta Broadway.
