San Antonio Express-News announces new promotions.

The Hearst Corporation’s San Antonio Express-News recently announced that newspaper industry leaders Sergio Salinas, Susan Pape, Lilia Castillo Jones, Leslie Magalios and Teresa Niño have each been promoted to key positions at the daily South Texas publication.
Sergio Salinas has been promoted to serve as the Express-News’ new general manager and executive vice president. Prior to being promoted Salinas served as senior vice president of sales and marketing.
Susan Pape has been named as the Express-News’ new executive vice president of finance and administration. Prior to her promotion, Pape served as the paper’s senior vice president of finance
Lilia Castillo Jones was promoted to assume responsibilities as senior vice president of advertising, after serving as director of display advertising since December 2003 managed national accounts.
Leslie Magalios has been named display advertising director after serving as the paper’s display advertising manager since joining the Express-News in July 2005.
Teresa Niño has been named marketing director after serving as the paper’s director of community relations since October 2004.
