Sanchez named Publisher of Al Dia.

Al Dia in North Texas and sister publication of The Dallas Morning News, has named Alejandro “Alex” Sanchez as its new publisher, effective February 5. Sanchez will oversee all business-related functions and the newsroom of the publication. Sanchez joined Al Dia in August 2007 as president and general manager.

“Alex has a long track record of transforming businesses and spearheading change. Over the past five months, he has reinvigorated our sales efforts and brought talented recruits to Al Dia,” said Cyndy Carr, senior vice president, niche products with The Dallas Morning News. “Alex brings a fresh vision and renewed sense of urgency, and I am confident that he can build on that momentum going forward.”
