Sánchez named VP of Client Services at Global Advertising Strategies.

Global Advertising Strategies announced the appointment of Marcos Sánchez as Vice President of Client Services. Marcos will oversee the agency’s team of account executives, as well as lead Global’s new business efforts.

With over 12  years of general market and multicultural agency experience, including his tenure at Prime Access, GlobalHue, Hill Holliday, The Vidal Partnership and Grey Advertising, Marcos brings extensive knowledge in Hispanic marketing, business and campaign development to Global Advertising Strategies. And his expertise in healthcare marketing will continue to build the agency’s growing practice group within that sector.

“The trend toward global market expansion and the importance of marketing across cultures within the United States has become a necessity. It will deepen as we discover the results of Census 2010,” said Givi Topchishvili, Global’s Founder and CEO. “Marcos’ expertise with brand building, especially within the Hispanic market and healthcare industry, will intensify our client offerings.”

“I am thrilled to join Global Advertising Strategies and to be given the opportunity to build upon a thriving agency, as well as contribute to Global’s multicultural marketing knowledge,” said Marcos. “I look forward to working with the entire team, sharing new experiences and further diversifying the firm’s client roster.”

Prior to joining Global, Marcos worked on such notable brands as Chase, Barnes & Noble, Sprint and Bank of America.  While at GlobalHue, Marcos played a key role in winning the Verizon Wireless Hispanic account.  He is a frequent contributor and panelist at multicultural summits and forums.
