SBS Radio announces Johanna Gomez as part of ‘The DJ Laz Morning Show’.

SBS Radio announced the appointment of Johanna Gomez as part of “The DJ Laz Morning Show” of its radio stations in Miami (WRMA-FM DJ106.7FM) and Los Angeles (KXOL-FM LA 96.3FM). Gomez will be co-hosting “The DJ Laz Morning Show” Coast to Coast Monday- Friday from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. (ET-PT).

Currently, Johanna is an on-air radio personality for the DJ Laz Morning Show Coast to Coast. Prior to this role, Gomez spent over five years as a reporter for WPLG Local 10, South Florida’s ABC affiliate network.  She covered a wide variety of stories at the station and besides her reporting duties, each week Johanna produced and wrote her own segment, the Local 10 Weekender, which updated the South Florida community on all activities and events.

“The DJ Laz Morning Show” is a four-hour daily radio program featuring DJ Laz, Johanna Gomez, Mark Moseley and a wide variety of characters.The show has an incredible line-up that includes entertainment, news, variety, comedy, interesting stories, and much more. The lifestyle morning show features DJ Laz with a format that allows him to touch on different topics as well as informative segments about the issues facing the audience today. The show also includes a great variety of music, picked specifically for this audience. DJ Laz plays chart-topping songs, debut new music and takes requests as his listeners become part of his morning show.

A native of Manhattan, New York, and born to Dominican parents, Johanna Gomez has been the host of a variety of shows ranging from the MD Connected Public access community showcase to nationally syndicated televised shows including HD Net’s Get Out, American Latino TV, as well as Fuzion and The Report for the Telemundo & MUN2 networks.
She currently freelances for SunSports/Fox Sports as a sideline reporter for the 2012 World Champion, Miami HEAT. From 2008-10, Gomez also worked as the in-game entertainment host for Marlins Vision at home baseball games for the Florida Marlins.
