Sensis interactive advertising agency for White Memorial.

White Memorial Medical Center in Southern California has hired Los Angeles-based Sensis as its interactive agency to expand WMMC’s brand and outreach efforts.

“As the Internet becomes a key source of information for individuals looking to inform their health care decisions, it is imperative that White Memorial communicates to its constituents online. By combining interactive strategies with traditional advertising, WMMC will expand its communication effectiveness,” Sensis CEO Jose Villa said. “We are bringing our knowledge of White Memorial’s diverse community and combining it with our ability to target relevant online behavior to communicate the right message at the right time. Our first campaign will be extremely targeted with detailed audience criteria. Interactive advertising is an excellent way to reach niche publications and should prove successful for White Memorial.”

As the hospital’s interactive agency, Sensis will handle online media, marketing and Web initiatives. For Sensis‚ inaugural campaign with WMMC, the hospital is looking to expand its communication to patients in outlining communities. The campaign will inform potential patients of the hospital‚s state-of-the-art amenities and top-tier doctors.

“The Internet is becoming an important medium in making health care decisions and should play an integral role in all our communication efforts, which is why we specifically sought out an interactive agency to partner with,” said Juan Perla, WMMC director of marketing and communication. “We are excited to see the campaign develop and obviously are eager to see the results.”

Sensis‚ interactive strategies will run in tandem to WMMC’s traditional advertisements. Online initiatives will include search engine marketing, display advertisements and rich media. The planning stages of this campaign are already underway with an expected launch date in late September.
