Sí TV Greenlights New Episodes Of ‘Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner’.
October 14, 2005
Sí TV has ordered 14 additional episodes of its hit series “Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner,” announced Jeff Valdez, co-founder and chairman of Sí TV.
“In addition to our lifestyle and comedy programming, it’s important for us to keep our viewers informed on important political issues,” says Valdez. “We have received overwhelmingly positive feedback about ‘Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner’ and we are excited to be ordering a third season of this thought provoking show.”
The program is hosted by Idalis De Leon, who recently appeared in the HBO hit series “Six Feet Under” and Neil Saavedra, the producer of the “Jesus Christ Show” on L.A.’s KFI AM 640. This season, in addition to sitting down with real people to get their reactions to controversial issues, the hosts will also duke it out with special celebrity guests. Online polls on Sí TV’s website, www.sitv.com, will allow viewers to weigh in on show topics. Poll results will be integrated into the episodes to reflect viewer’s attitudes and opinions.
Celebrities and regular guests alike will tackle hot topics issues including: Should Hollywood celebrities be involved in politics? Are “Boomerang Kids” losers for moving back home? Should minorities who are conservative Republicans feel like they are betraying their race or ethnicity? The Bling Generation: Are we breeding a money loving vapid generation? Are blogs replacing real news? Plus many more relevant issues that are on the minds of today’s young adults.
