SíTV Heats Up Fall Line.

This season, look for Sí TV to unleash an ambitious fall line up as the start-up network introduces three new original shows, giving the network a total of eight originally produced shows on its programming schedule. Add to the list new seasons of viewer favorites “The Rub” and “The Drop” and the premiere of the hit-series “American Family” and you have a full-fledged heat wave.

The fall season jumps off with “Across the Hall” (premieres September 6th), a distinctive half-hour “reality themed” music video show featuring personalities Mayte Garcia and Eric Cubiche as co-hosts. Garcia is a dancer/choreographer and singer who has performed most notably with Prince and Tommy Lee, and is also as an actress with roles in the series “Nip/Tuck.” Cubiche is a radio personality, co-hosting “The B-Side” on KKBT-FM (“The Beat”) in L.A. and has appeared on programs such as “The Shield.”

“Across the Hall” follows these two friends who live across the hall from each other in separate apartments and share a mutual passion for music. Each show will have them hanging out in each other’s apartments talking, arguing, living and breathing music. Along the way they will present a half-dozen music videos woven together by a common thread, such as “J-Lo’s Men” or “Celebrity Cameos.”

The following Saturday the start-up network will kick off a five hour original programming block, affectionately titled The O-Sí with the “O” in the title referring to the fledgling network’s impressive arsenal of original programs like “The Drop”, “The Rub”, “Urban Jungle”, “Latino Laugh Festival: The Show” and “Styleyes.” Every Saturday starting at 8 p.m. viewers can tune in to get a dose of quality, relevant Latino programming that can only be seen on Sí TV.

Not to be outdone, “The Rub” returns strong for its second season (September 13th) with two new features added to keep viewers informed and promote viewer participation. In addition to its four sexy outspoken hosts dishing about sex, love and relationships, new seasons of “The Rub” will feature field experts who will expand on the relevant topics being discussed and viewers will have added access through an online component to submit questions via email and participate in real-time polls.

October will see four new programs added to the bold network: “Inside Joke”, “American Family”, “Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner” and the return of “The Drop.”

Starting on October 1st, “Inside Joke” takes a candid look at the inner lives of young comics mixed with their hilarious on-stage comedy. An added layer of the show will feature bonus wrap around segments with animated puppets introducing the comedians’ stand up material.

On October 11th, Sí TV presents the premiere of the first season of the critically-acclaimed original series “American Family.” Starring Academy Award nominee Edward James Olmos, Constance Marie, Yancey Arias, Jesse Borrego, Patricia Velasquez, Kate del Castillo, and Raquel Welch, “American Family” chronicles the lives of the Gonzalez family, residents of East Los Angeles. The second season of this Emmy-nominated mini-series will also run on Sí TV in early 2005.

The following week (October 18th) viewers can catch all-new episodes of “The Drop,” one of Sí TV’s most dynamic shows. “The Drop” features a unique video mix created by “The Drop” DJ’s, live studio performances, artist interviews, and a special insider sneak-peek into today’s hot Latin and urban culture. The new season of “The Drop” will also include an interactive component that will allow viewers to be more directly involved with the content.

Rounding out the fall season on October 22 is “Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.” What better way to find out what America is thinking than to enlist a brash Latino host to take the pulse of America, one meal at a time? Watch as an inquiring, and sometimes prying, comedic host serves up hot topics by interviewing people at breakfast, lunch, and dinner at their favorite eateries around the country.
