Six Flags theme parks announced the selection of Doner as its new agency of record. The agreement with Doner will make them partners to handle all domestic and international advertising services starting with Six Flags’ 2004 season.
“We saw some fabulous work from the four agency finalists this past week,” Hank Salemi, senior vice president, Six Flags, Inc. (NYSE: PKS), said. “Doner provided keen insights on marketing our brand and exciting creative concepts to effectively reach our customers and keep them coming back for more. We look forward to a successful partnership with Doner.”
“We are excited about partnering with Six Flags and see this as an incredible marketing opportunity,” said Alan Kalter, chairman and chief executive officer of Doner. “While working with Six Flags we uncovered insights to the category which provided innovative creative and a strategic vision that will contribute to the long-term growth of the brand.”
“Six Flags would like to also thank the team at Ackerman McQueen for their longstanding service to our company,” Salemi explained. “AM started out with us nine years ago and provided skillful stewardship of our marketing and advertising messages as we grew to 39 parks worldwide.”
