SmartEdge By GMAC Launches Julieta Venegas Tour In San Antonio.

Unveil Financial Education Campaign…Next week (September 26-30) GMAC will visit five colleges and universities in the San Antonio area as part of the launching of SmartEdge by GMAC. This financial educational campaign focuses on establishing good credit, managing a budget and vehicle financing options.

“I wish I had access to an online tool like www.SmartEdgeByGMAC.com when I was thinking of buying my first car and my first house. This kind of initiative benefits the Hispanic community, since it offers the knowledge that many of our parents could not provide us,” said Leticia Sanchez, Diversity Marketing Manager for General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC).

The week-long tour will visit five colleges in the San Antonio area:

-Palo Alto College – September 26

-St. Mary’s University – September 27

-San Antonio College – September 28

-University of Texas at San Antonio – September 29

-Our Lady of the Lake University – September 30 – Tour Stop and Julieta Venegas FREE CONCERT

While on tour, SmartEdge by GMAC will also be promoting their main event – a FREE concert featuring well-known singer Julieta Venegas on Friday, September 30, 2005 at 5pm at Our Lady of the Lake University.

Students can visit the GMAC booth on each of these campus locations between 10am-2pm on the days indicated. There, they’ll learn more about SmartEdge and also be able to pick up their FREE tickets to the concert while they last. The concert is first-come, first-served for the first 1,500 ticket holders present at the concert on September 30.
