Smester named EVP of Programming for the Univision Network

Univision Communications Inc. announced the promotion of long-time programming executive Sandra Smester to executive vice president of Programming for the Univision Network. She will continue to be based in Miami and report to Alberto Ciurana, president of programming and content for UCI.
“Sandra is one of the most talented media executives in the industry,” said Ciurana. “Her passion and commitment for our audiences is reflected in everything she does.”
