Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Conference.

The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Inc. (SHPE) is launching its Pearl (30th) Anniversary at its National Technical & Career Conference (NTCC) on Wednesday, January 7th through Sunday, January 11th, 2004 in Chicago, Illinois at “The Lakeside Center”.

Over 4,500 Latino engineering professionals, corporate representatives, community leaders and students from around the country are invited to attend the largest technical Hispanic conference in the nation. NTCC will be concentrating on methods to promote mathematics and science for Hispanics, and will be highlighting Technical & Career Workshops, a Career Fair, a Graduate School Fair, a National Academic Olympiad, a Pre-College Program, Technical Paper & Web Site Competitions, National Awards, and a Pearl Gala Awards Banquet.
