Sorpresa! & CNN en Español co-produce weekend children’s news.

Sorpresa! and CNN en Español announced the debut of a co-produced weekend news segment entitled “Qué Pasa?” hosted by CNN en Español anchor Claudia Palacios. Sorpresa! is owned by Firestone Communications, a diversified media and communications company that has recently entered into an agreement to merge with Juniper Partners Acquisition Corporation.

“Sorpresa! reaches a growing demographic that needs to be educated on today’s important news topics.” Said host Claudia Palacios. “Having children of my own, I am aware of the need for media outlets to deliver relevant news stories to the Hispanic youth of America.”
