Spanish Broadcasting System prevails in Orlando & Tampa controversy & purchase from Cox Media Group

As reported by HispanicAd and Radio TV Business Report with support from the Hispanic Marketing Council, highlighted the inconsistency of how media companies need to divest themselves from certain Radio or TV properties due to Federal regulation, Spanish Broadcasting System has prevailed and will purchase WPYO-FM 95.3 in Maitland, Fla., serving the Orlando market, and WSUN-FM 97.1 in Holiday, Fla., serving metropolitan Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater.

Staff at both Cox Media stations were informed of the transaction earlier today, as reported by Radio TV Business Report.
