Spanish Television Sales launches …..

Former executives from Azteca America Spot Television Sales and Hispanic Independent Television Sales today announced the formation of a new Hispanic Television representation company, to be known as Spanish Television Sales.
The company’s mission will be to dramatically expand sales and marketing opportunities available to Spanish-language marketers. The firm will be operational this week and include experienced media sales professionals in major national offices across the country.
Spanish Television Sales, or STS, will offer Spanish-language broadcasters and operators a heretofore unavailable outlet to reach advertisers in a market that continues to expand. STS has plans, as the company expands, to move into Hispanic digital content sales, too.
Rick Schwartz, General Manager, reports that the new company (to be known as “STS”) already has several affiliate groups lined up for representation agreements. “There is an incredible demand for Hispanic Television sales representation” Schwartz said. “2009 promises to be a banner year for new station launches and many of them will be targeting Hispanic viewers.”
