July 21, 2007
Stratus Entertainment Inc. has changed its name from Stratus Entertainment Inc. to Latin Television Inc. A new Cusip number will be announced next week when it is received from Cusip Service Bureau.
On August 14, 2007, Stratus Entertainment acquired all of the assets of THE League Magazine relating to its broadcasting enterprises into the Hispanic community. The assets included all of the broadcasting equipment, electrical properties, contracts, as well as the name Latin Television Inc. and all related trade names and trademarks.
Stratus has changed its name to Latin Television Inc. and intends to continue broadcasting to the Spanish community while taking advantage of the momentum created by the previous operating entity.
Stratus has developed a new model for broadcasting to the Hispanic community which it intends to follow and expand in its new enterprise.
Derek Jones, CEO of Stratus was quoted: “With the access of the capital markets that we have as well as a new management team, we are confident that the ongoing operations of Latin Television Inc. under our new banner will be successful and that the shareholders of Stratus will be the ultimate beneficiaries. We believe that the Hispanic community is one of the fastest growing segments of American society. Our focus is to serve that community with a combination of English and Spanish broadcasting that will inform and integrate Hispanic viewers on all levels.”
