Suarez joins Machado/Garcia-Serra Communications

Manuel E. Machado, CEO/Co-Chairman of Machado/Garcia-Serra Communications (MGS), announced that Tony Suarez has joined the firm as Senior Vice-President of Operations. Suarez will be responsible for building and implementing efficiency systems at MGS, while driving best practices throughout the company, and managing operationally the company’s initiatives toward targeted growth. He will report directly to the Executive Management Team.
“Communications trends are constantly changing and MGS is continuously adapting by expanding the marketing services we offer our Client partners,” stated Machado. “Tony will be a wonderful asset in helping us streamline processes between MGS’ seven wholly-owned subsidiaries, and ensuring efficiencies on many levels, while delivering the most effective, fully integrated communications campaigns.”
Suarez comes to MGS after over a decade of directing multi-million dollar marketing budgets for global brands. Most recently he managed Consumer Development for Moet Hennessy USA brands including Hennessy Cognac and Belvedere Vodka. Prior to this, he worked for the distribution arm of Miller Brewing Company, JJ Taylor Distributing, where he developed marketing efforts and strategic pricing and promotional programs for over 10 domestic and foreign breweries. His expertise includes managing advertising agencies through the development and implementation of strategies for multicultural segments. He began his career in the airline industry where he acted as Lead Agent for American Airlines; and later ran all functions of airport operations for Avensa Airline.
