Super Estrella brings RBD live!

LA’s Spanish Hit Station, KSSE 107.1 FM, Super Estrella in collaboration with Roptus.com and productos la Mexicana present RBD in concert at The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on March 18th at 8:00pm. Super Estrella is the official station bringing you RBD live, they are giving away tickets everyday with the “RBD Song of the Day”. Super Estrella will also be giving away tickets to the best seats in the house through different stunts in the week leading into the show; these will be one of a kind stunts where listeners will have a chance to win front row seats to see their favorite band.

From its creation in the 2004, RBD, the international musical phenomenon of the moment; comes to the US with its first tour in the United States that will cover more than 30 cities. The tour “Generación RBD” will kick off at The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, making it the biggest Latin show in the history of the venue. Capacity for the concert is 80,000 people. Tickets went on sale on February 18th and within 4 hours 17,000 tickets had been sold. As of today over 40,000 tickets have been sold, leaving only general admission tickets at a $50 price point. Since 1920, the only sold out shows have been Madonna, five Bruce Springsteen shows and four Rolling Stones shows. The LA Coliseum has also been host of two Olympic Games, two Super Bowls, a mass for Pope John Paul II, a World Series, and an acceptance speech by John F. Kennedy.

After the great success with its soap opera, RBD whose members are: Anahi, Dulce Maria, Christopher, Christian, Maite and Alfonso have achieved numerous gold, platinum and diamond status for reaching over the top sales in Mexico and in the US. Millions of copies have been sold in the US making singles such as “Rebelde”, “Nuestro Amor” and “Solo quedate en silencio” number 1 songs during 2005 and 2006.
