Tacher joins Despierta América.

The Univision Network announced Alan Tacher will be joining “Despierta América” (Wake-Up America) as co-host starting November 5th. A renowned television presenter, Tacher most recently co-hosted Televisa’s morning news show “Hoy” (Today).  He will relocate to Miami to take on his new role on “Despierta América.”
 
“Alan is one of the best television hosts in Spanish-language media and we welcome him to ‘Despierta América,’ where he is joining the best morning team in U.S. Hispanic television, a team that in the few weeks since I joined Univision has shown me why they are No. 1,” said Alberto Ciurana, President, Programming & Content, Univision Networks. “I have worked with Alan for many years and know that he will add to the magic formula and help us in our mission to serve and entertain our audience with that professionalism, charisma and sense of humor he is known for.”
