July 30, 2004
Tahitian Noni Juice, recently hosted over 800 Latinos of all nationalities from the United States and Canada in the second annual Congreso Latino. The event was held August 19th – 21st, at the Marriott Hotel in Provo as well as the corporate headquarters building in the RiverWoods Business Park, and is the largest Hispanic event of the year for Tahitian Noni International. Attendance was up this year by over 40% from last year. Tahitian Noni International is one of the only network marketing companies to host a conference entirely in Spanish for its distributors.
“This conference is to unite our Latin distributors in a totally Spanish-speaking event,” stated Craig Colyar, Regional Sales Manager for the Southwest Region. “The conference includes extensive sales and product training, motivational exercises, and tours of our corporate headquarters as well as our manufacturing and bottling plant. It also gives our distributors an opportunity to meet and hear from the executives of Tahitian Noni International as well as other celebrity speakers.”
“The Hispanic market has been one of the fastest-growing segments of our company,” stated Kelly Olsen, President of Tahitian Noni International. “Their warm and friendly demeanor makes direct selling a natural way for them to do business and we expect a significant amount of our growth to come from this market during the next few years.”
Tahitian Noni International is one of the fastest-growing private companies in the world, according to Griffin-Hill, a marketing research company. “One of the reasons for that success is due to the strength and growth of our Latino market,” concluded Olsen.
