TBS LatAM Sales Teams Changes.

Turner Broadcasting System (TBS) Latin America, Inc. has promoted Constantino “Said” Schwarz to sales manager for Mexico and Central America, and named Debora Coutinho to account executive for the Caribbean and special markets. The announcement was made by Luis Bolio, vice president of distribution and marketing for Northern Latin America, TBS Latin America, Inc.
“Said made significant advances for Turner in the expanding Caribbean market and he is a solid force to lead Mexico and Central America to greater distances,” said Bolio. “We are also excited to welcome Debora to the Northern Latin America sales team after her successful work in our Brazil office, we are confident that her strong sales experience and initiative will also bring value to the region.”
Schwarz is now responsible for representing Turner’s networks in Mexico and Central America, and assisting the sales efforts of the company’s broadband, cellular and broadcast initiatives in the territory. Schwarz will be permanently based in Turner’s Mexico office and reports to Luis Bolio for the Mexico and Central American regions.
Schwarz joined TBS Latin America in 2000 as the account executive for the Caribbean and special markets. Prior to this he worked for Disney ABC Cable Networks, as the Southeast regional sales coordinator and account executive for Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. A native of Venezuela, Schwarz holds a Bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University and is a Walter Kaitz Fellow. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
In her new position, Debora Coutinho is charged with the affiliate sales of Turner’s networks for the Caribbean, cruise ships and U.S. Government. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Coutinho will report to Marc Hertfelder, affiliate sales director for the Andean (including Peru) and Caribbean regions. Prior to this, Coutinho served as senior account executive for Turner International (TI) Brazil, a division of TBS Latin America, where she was responsible for developing sales strategies, building long-term partnerships with clients and training customer’s sales team.
Coutinho came to Turner in 1999 from the International Sales Division of TV Globo, the largest television network in Brazil, where she served as a marketing analyst. A native of Rio de Janeiro, Coutinho has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
