Tecate Light hits high notes with Aleks Syntek.

Tecate Light announced Aleks Syntek as the headliner act of the “Fiesta Friday” concert on April 18. Starting at 7:00 p.m., the renowned Mexican pop artist and Latin Grammy winner will present his biggest hits for thousands of fans at the Tecate Light stage, in front of the Long Beach Performing Arts Center. Race ticket holders will be able to enjoy the concert free of charge.

Producer, arranger and composer; Aleks Syntek has recorded three multi-platinum albums and has achieved numerous nominations from the Billboard Awards, Latin Grammys, and MTV Latin America. In 1999 he received the Mexican Academy Movie Award for “Best Score” with the movie Sexo, Pudor y Lagrimas (Sex, Shame and Tears). Currently, Syntek is planning a mainstream crossover including several English versions of his original Spanish language hits.

In addition to the Friday celebration, Tecate Light is also proud to present Pennywise as the band for Saturday’s “Tecate Rock and Roar” concert to be held on April 19 at 6:00 p.m. Following this performance will be the crowning of the “Tecate Miss Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach”, featuring some of the most charming and beautiful women in Southern California.
