Tecate presents November Knockout Month.

Tecate is turning up the dial this November with “Tecate Knockout Month,” in support of the upcoming vigorous boxing schedule featuring headlining marquee fighters, championship bouts and the best from up-and-coming stars. Boxing fanatics can expect continuous televised fight coverage every Friday and Saturday throughout the month with eight major events and countless rounds presenting knockdown, knockout action.

“The action packed excitement isn’t limited to just televised fights, enthusiasts can enjoy boxing in a whole new way through Tecate’s interactive grassroots campaign that puts them closer to the ring than ever before,” said Felix Palau, vice president of marketing for Tecate. “All across the country and in fight markets, adults 21 and older will be rewarded with premium offers like mail-in rebates, ticket upgrades, boxing themed giveaways and promotional events at local retail sites.”

“Tecate Knockout Month” kicks-off on November 6 with an East Coast-West Coast showdown for the most adrenaline-charged fight. The Puerto Rican undefeated titlist Juan Manuel “JuanMa” Lopez faces off against Mexico’s Rafael Marquez for the featherweight championship at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Residents will enjoy the Tecate Champs Zone featuring a mobile boxing ring that will visit 10 retail locations weeks prior to the J.M. Lopez vs. R. Marquez fight. There, adult consumers can channel their inner “Tecate Champion” as they pose alongside Chicas Tecate to celebrate in victory. That same night in Newark, NJ, Zab Judah confronts Lucas Matthysse; Tecate will paint the Prudential Center red with promotional display materials to support the fight.
