TeleFutura 2004 – 2005.

The TeleFutura Network was launched in January 2002.

“TeleFutura was created to provide the Hispanic community with more viewing choices in Spanish,” said Ray Rodriguez, President and Chief Operating Officer, Univision Television Networks. “In the two short years since its inception, the Network’s success has been monumental. Month after month, TeleFutura continues to reach new all-time high viewership levels, and it has already overtaken Telemundo as the #2 Spanish-language broadcast network in key dayparts and demos.”

“TeleFutura’s programming strategy has successfully catapulted the network to the forefront of Spanish-language entertainment and our offerings this season are even more exciting than ever,” said Alina Falcón, Executive Vice President and Operating Manager, TeleFutura Network. “With a lineup of blockbuster Hollywood movies, dynamic sports programs and live game coverage, family-friendly novelas, exciting game shows and much more, TeleFutura’s record audience levels are sure to be broken in the 2004-2005 season. We look forward to a bright future for TeleFutura, as it continues to provide the highest quality programming to Hispanic America while striving to become the #2 Spanish-language network overall. ”

“With its tremendous accomplishments over the last two years, TeleFutura has become a valuable vehicle for advertisers to extend their reach in Spanish-language media and target the more elusive younger viewers in an efficient way,” said Dennis McCauley, Co-President of Network Sales. “The introduction of TeleFutura has caused viewing to Spanish-language broadcast television to increase 36%, with TeleFutura capturing an impressive 60% of that growth and regularly ranking as the #2 Spanish-language network in key dayparts.”
