Telehit & Leukemia & Lymphoma Society team-up for ¡Curatón!.

Telehit and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, partnered to present the first annual ¡Curatón!, a concert developed to raise much-needed funds for the research and treatment necessary to battle blood cancers widely affecting the Hispanic community. The event took place on Thursday, March 22, 2007, at the famous Key Club on Sunset Boulevard.

¡Curatón! opened with introductions by Telehit hosts Claudio and Yatzil followed by performances from popular rock band Monte Negro and Latin hip hop sensation Malverde. Ozomatli, known for their eclectic music that mixes salsa, urban hip-hop, and jazz-funk was the headline act. Among the Red Carpet celebrities in attendance were Robi Draco Rosa, Efrain Ramirez (from Napoleon Dynamite), Jacqueline Piñol (CSI Miami), Wendy McLendon Covy (Reno 911) and Jonathan Bornstein (Chivas USA).

¡Curatón! will be televised exclusively by Telehit in a special program that will present Red Carpet interviews, behind the scenes special reports as well as commentary from concert goers about their experience at ¡Curatón!
