Telemundo 52 – KVEA unveiled a new Team of Anchors & Reporters.

At a cocktail celebration at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, California last night, Telemundo 52-KVEA unveiled their new team of anchors and reporters for Noticiero Telemundo 52 and reinforced the newscast’s commitment to offer high quality news that inform and empower the Los Angeles’ Hispanic community that it serves. The new team included Noticiero Telemundo 52 at 6PM and 11PM news anchors Ana Patricia Candiani and Edgar Muñoz, Noticiero Telemundo 52 weekend news anchor Johana Suárez, Sports Anchor Alejandro Navarro and news reporters Víctor Hugo Rodríguez, Azucena Gómez, Azalea Iñiguez, Dinorah Pérez, Gabriel Huerta and Martín Plascencia, as well as Buenos Dias Los Angeles anchor Dunia Elvir.  Noticiero Telemundo 52 airs Monday through Sunday at 6PM and 11PM on Telemundo 52- KVEA.

Noticiero Telemundo 52 at 6PM and 11PM news anchor Ana Patricia Candiani is an award-winning journalist with more than 16 years of experience informing the Latino community in the United States. Who during her successful career has interviewed important personalities of the world. On the other hand, Edgar Muñoz is a familiar face to Southern California audiences; bringing a plethora of experience, integrity and credibility to the station’s daily newscast.
 
Noticiero Telemundo 52 weekend news anchor Johana Suaréz is an 11 time Emmy Award-winning journalist. In 2012 she won a Northern California regional Emmy award for Best Anchor in Spanish language, In addition to her vast experience covering immigration, education, health, cultural and local community stories. Also, “Marcador Final” host Alejandro Navarro who after retiring from his athletic career joined Telemundo 52 in 2006 where he covers local, national and international basketball, baseball, boxing and soccer, including the Mexican Soccer League.
 
Among the team of reporters are, Victor Hugo Rodríguez, correspondent from Los Angeles for Telemundo’s national newscast and for “Al Rojo Vivo”. Dinorah Perez, general assignment reporter who has covered a wide range of stories including interviews with important political figures. Azalea Iñiguez whose Award-winner journalistic career has span for almost two decades. Azucena Gomez, who has been awarded with two Golden Mikes, for “Best Newscast regarding Economics” and “Best Special Report,” as well as two nominations for the prestigious Emmy Award.  Gabriel Huerta an expertise on issues affecting the Hispanic community and whose excellence in broadcast journalism has been recognized with various awards. Martin Plascencia a journalist with more than 25 years of experience who has earned several journalism accolades such as a Golden Mike Award as news producer and multiple Emmy Award nominations and Dunia Elvir anchor of “Buenos Dias Los Angeles” and who with more than nine years of experience, has become one of the most recognized and respected journalist in Los Angeles
