“The additional cable carriage in these markets represents important distribution enhancements for TELEMUNDO and it is a significant step towards achieving our goal of reaching all U.S. Hispanics. We are pleased that the top MSO’s are recognizing the importance of the U.S. Hispanic viewer and the key role that Telemundo plays in attracting this growing market segment,” said Alan Sokol, Chief Operating Officer of Telemundo Communications Group. “We believe that we offer the best and most varied Spanish-language programming in the U.S., and look forward to continuing our successful initiative to create partnerships with cable operators that represent ‘win-wins’ for all parties.”
