Telemundo ‘Al Rojo Vivo’ In NYC
August 10, 2002
Since it’s debut just 4 months ago, Telemundo’s “Al Rojo Vivo con Maria Celeste” has captured the New York audience by storm, positioning itself #1* from 5-6 pm ET on WNJU-TV Channel 47 in July, 2002. Al Rojo Vivo became the number one rated show, receiving a 3.9 NSI rating among adults 18-34, beating all English and Spanish programs that air in this time slot. In addition to being #1 in New York, Al Rojo Vivo is experiencing excellent success in Los Angeles.
“Having lived in both New York and Los Angeles is key to my understanding what the audience in these top two markets likes to watch,” said Maria Celeste Arraras, Anchor and Managing Editor of Al Rojo Vivo. Next week viewers will have the opportunity to watch unique coverage of an illiterate woman who weaved the contents of the Bible in Spanish, teaching herself how to read.
Al Rojo Vivo is a news magazine program with an edge that delivers red hot stories daily.
