Telemundo announces ‘PEOPLE’S CHOICE LATIN MUSIC AWARDS’ to air in 2023

The globally-recognized People’s Choice Awards is expanding across NBCU’s television portfolio with the announcement of the first-ever People’s Choice Latin Music Awards set to air on Telemundo in the spring of 2023. The only award show for the people, by the people, People’s Choice Latin Music Awards builds off the flagship E!/NBC show and will celebrate all genres of Hispanic music, entertainment, style and pop culture, chosen entirely by the audience in the same spirit of the established brand. In addition to the live awards ceremony and red carpet celebrity specials, extensive content will be available across platforms providing viewers a fully immersive experience.

The live awards show will feature categories recognizing fan-favorite Latin artists and stars across all areas of music, entertainment and pop culture. Several honorary awards will also be bestowed during the awards ceremony.

The 2021 People’s Choice Awards, which was simulcast across NBC and E!, marked the highest-rated show among all key demos since 2018, bucking industry trends. The People’s Choice Awards was originally acquired by E! in 2017, with its first telecast airing on the network in November 2018.
